Vaulting has been described as "gymnastics on the moving horse",
and has been compared to both ballet and figure skating as well.
It is an exciting competitive sport, and amazing to watch. Teams
of up to eight boys and girls of all ages participate, and there are events
for individuals and pairs.

As an equestrian sport, Vaulting offers horse activities to youngsters
with limited opportunities, physically challenge, learning disables, inner
city, and "at risk" kids of all ages and abilities. In many cases,
these youngsters are mainstreamed onto teams with other kids thus giving
all participants positive, life-serving experience.
